Five Senses Together!
We believe that learning in our nursery should not only be seen, but also felt, heard, smelled and even tasted! That is why sensory experiences are naturally incorporated into every moment of the day.
Children sometimes feel the mud in their hands, sometimes listen to the birds singing in the trees, and sometimes taste the fresh herbs they gather from our garden. We give them plenty of opportunities to observe, touch, smell and taste their surroundings.
Using all five senses simultaneously is not only fun; it is also very important for brain development.
Sensory games help children:
✔ It strengthens your memory
✔ Supports language skills
✔ Increases attention and concentration
✔ Develops self-monitoring
✔ It prepares you to understand complex concepts (such as dimension, temperature, distance).
But most importantly, it enables children to connect with their surroundings, with each other and with their inner worlds.
For us, every muddy footprint, every plant scent, every taste experience is a step in learning.
